Jane Simms Hicks

Jane Simms Hicks, 89, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:00 am at Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jarred Mattox officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Veteran Mausoleum.

Ms. Hicks was born in Valley, Alabama to the late Hendon M. and Eleanor Wallace Simms, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Hicks She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and Joyful Believers Sunday School Class.

She left to cherish her memory, her sons, David Hicks (Vicki) and Jimmy Hicks (Dawn); five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Wallace Simms; and several nieces and nephews.
