Curtis son Bobby and I were best friends during 1960's in middle and high school...  Thus have know Curtis and Betty since 1961... Very good folks.. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I was very saddened to hear the news yesterday of the passing of Curtis.  As they say, it is time to celebrate his life, and not mourn his death.  Curtis was a model human being.  He hired me as a teen at McKesson and Robbins in 1965, I worked there during the summer for three years.  He treated everyone respectfully and his management decisions reflected his loyalty to both company and employees. I never heard him use foul language or denigrate anyone.  We had an employee named Ulysses, who could not read or write.  Curtis looked after him and created the opportunity for him to succeed in his duties, and he was a hard worker, so once shown what his responsibilities were, he made meaningful contribution.  EVERYONE thought highly of Curtis, and that says a lot. A devoted husband and father all his adult life, and married to a wonderful lady.

I am forever grateful to have found him again after 47 years.  It gave me a lot of pleasure to tell him that I would always remember him.  Curtis told me that he and I were the only living employees from the company, and I told him that it was a rare pleasure to call someone friend after 50 years.

My condolences to Betty and the family,  Rest in peace Curtis, you earned it.

We're so thankful to have known Curtis.  He was a very special man with the unique ability to make everyone's day brighter.  R I P,  Curtis.  Our condolences to Betty and her family.

My heart is saddened to hear the news of Curtis' passing. I have so many fond memories as a child living next door to Betty and Curtis, my parents best friends. He was a talented artist (loved the dog prints) and could always make us laugh.  He will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with Betty and the family.  With our love an prayers, Janis and Mike Stops

Betty, I just heard about Curtis from Kenneth last night.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  Both you and Curtis were such favorites of mine.  I always enjoyed your visits with the Francis family so much.

What a gift Uncle Curtis and Aunt Betty have been in our lives! They have added humor, warmth and wisdom. Uncle Curtis will leave such a chasm and will be sorely missed. He definitely lit up a room when he entered!
