Jamey was born in Macon, Georgia to Linda Lineberger Long and the late Terry Thomas Long. He graduated from Windsor Academy, Class of 1999 and was working for Truan Sales/Pond Dam Piping. Jamey loved being around children, teaching them and coaching softball and baseball. He loved time spent surrounded by family and friends and had a tremendous following of prayer warriors wishing him peace and recovery. Jamey has now joined his father who preceded him in death in 2004.
Left to cherish his memory and carry his legacy are his mother, Linda Long; brother Rev. Jody (Julie) Long; niece, Merrill Long; nephew, John Thomas Long; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a great host of friends. Jamey’s family wishes to extend a special word of thanks and deep appreciation for the love and care poured out by Janice and her family.
