James Wesley Hood, Jr., 89 passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216.
Mr. Hood was born in El Dorado, AR to the late James Wesley Hood, Sr., and Wilford Virginia Vining Hood. He is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from RAFB after 30 years. Mr. Hood enjoyed motorcycle riding and scuba diving and was an active member in local clubs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mr. Hood was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Jean DeLaneuville.
Survivors include his loving wife, Polly D. Hood; children, Barbara Wolfe (Ron), Jamie Padgett (Daryl), James Wesley Hood, III and Joseph Raymond Hood (Veronica); eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
