James Benjamin Fullington, Sr.

James Benjamin Fullington, Sr. 88, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel at 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Ga. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Pitts, Georgia. Services will be officiated by Pastor Jamie Fullington, a grandson.

He was born in Clinchfield, Georgia July 11, 1936. He was preceded in death by father, John Douglas Fullington, Sr., mother, Mary Ellen Lyles Fullington, and brother, John Douglas Fullington, Jr.

Mr. Fullington, a pharmacist, retired from Houston Health Care in Warner Robins. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His character exemplified Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, La Rea Conner Fullington, Children, DeRanna Canady (Ken Whitaker), Jim Fullington (Teresa), Corey Fullington (Suzanne), Brian Fullington (Kibbie), sister, Patricia Wilkes, 8 Grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one great-great –grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Snows Memorial Chapel at 1419 Bass Road has charge of arrangements.
