MACON – Jackie Derrel West, 75, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with the Rev. Richard Asbell officiating. Burial will be private. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. West, son of the late Joseph William and Estelle Taylor West, was born in Tifton and served with the U. S. Navy. He had worked at Robins Air Force Base and was a member of First Assembly of God, Warner Robins.

Survivors include his wife, Josey R. West of Macon; his children, Mark (Suzanne) West of Macon, Pat Manders of Cordele, Donna Brawner of Gray, Wendy Baumgartner of Melbourne, FL; his stepdaughters, Robin Alston of Monroe Co. and Wendy Sauerhoefer of Woodstock; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his brother, Donald (Lanell) West of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
