Henry E. Higgins

MACON, GA - Henry E. Higgins, 74, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11A.M., at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Carey officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 277 Martin Luther King Blvd., Macon, GA 31201.

Mr. Higgins was born in Waycross, Georgia and raised in Baxley, Georgia to the late Thedford and Annie Bell Baxley Higgins. He was retired from Armstrong World Industries as a fabrication technician. Mr. Higgins was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed truck shows and won the World of Wheels and several other truck competitions. Mr. Higgins was a true diehard Georgia Bulldog Fan. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Priscilla Mayne Higgins of Macon; two children, Ann (Garrett) Fiveash of Macon and Donna (Ron) McCall of Macon; four grandchildren, Brittany McCall of Savannah, Dustin Waters of New York, Brooklynn McCall of Macon and Stormy Fiveash of Macon; god-son, Brandon Eavenson of Gray; and brother, Franklin Higgins of Baxley, GA; and extended family and friends.
