Gene dedicated his life to caring for his family, immediate and extended alike.  He spent his time, love, and money for God and his family. I remember calling him daddy at young age of 5 and he was one to me. I am so thankful for his guiding hand in making sure we were in church.   Grown up and  looking back, I appreciate him even more knowing how hard it is to raise children myself and how hard he worked for his families.  He will truly be missed.

To the Tyner and Pritchett families and friends, we loved Mr. Pritchett. He was comical in his own way. Always smiling.

So sorry David about the loss of Mr. Pritchett. I know he loved everyone and those around him. He was good. Just pure goodness.

God bless the Pritchett and Tyner families. We knew Mr. Pritchett as a restful soul. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers to Carol, his loving mate.

I am a personal friend of Lorrie Tyner.  When I learned of Gene's passing, I asked her to send me the obituary so I could learn more about who he was and how he lived.  After reading his story, I got the impression he was an amazing fellow. Dave, Lorrie and all family members and friends, please accept my sincere condolences on his passing. I was blessed to have a warm hearted Christian father-in-law. His conversations and cards brought much happiness to our household. To my step mother-in-law Carole, I love you very much and share your grief. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Mr. Pritchett was the funniest dad I have ever met. Once he came home from work and caught us children dancing to the the tunes of Archie on his dinner table! We just knew we would get a whipping, but Mr. Pritchett just laughed and laughed about it! We love you Wendy!

Grand Daddy Pritchett was a loving and kind hearted man. He was always ready to have wholesome, edifying, and faithful conversations across the miles.
