Gregory “Greg” Steven Waters, Jr., 29, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Michael Kavanaugh will officiate. Serving as Pallbearers will be Ben Waters, Donald Waters, Jeremy Clements, Matthew Duckworth, Brandon Cushman, Clay Cushman, John Ray, Jr., Les Shelton and Robert Peavy. The Rosary and Scripture service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home with visitation to follow.
Greg was a lifelong resident of Macon and was a service technician with Roto Rooter of Middle Georgia, Steve Waters Plumbing Co. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, Jaris and David Zaenglein of Sandersville, Steve Waters and Debra Carter of Macon; sisters and brothers, Kari Anne Waters of Baltimore, MD, Jenna Zaenglein, John Zaenglein, T. J. Zaenglein and Jake Zaenglein, all of Sandersville, Matt Gonzalez of Macon and Erin Shelton of Forsyth; maternal grandparents, Angela and Bob Grier of Lizella; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Ray Rowe of Evans; nieces and nephew, Laney Jane Clifford of Sandersville, Kayla Pippin and Bryce Shelton, both of Forsyth.
