George Oxford Heath Jr.

George Oxford "Ox" Heath Jr., age 90, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Ox was born in Macon the son of the late Vickie Brown Heath and George O. Heath, Sr. and was preceded in death by his brother, William Henry Heath. He was a graduate of Lanier High School for Boys and upon graduation he went to work in the family business. Later he became the owner and operator of this business, Heath Ice and Coal Company. His greatest enjoyment was watching his children grow up and his grandchildren play sports.

Ox is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Frances Heath; children, G. O. Heath, III (Mary Ann); Vickie Cox (Mike), G. Kelley Heath (Saralyn), Laurie Brown (Phillip); 5 grandchildren, Gunner Heath, Dakota Heath, Alicia Cox Record, Heath Cox, and Nikki Heath Caywood; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Yaughn; numerous nieces & nephews.

Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road, has charge of arrangements.
