Gary B. Sorrells

Gary Bryce Sorrells, 66, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Mike Lewis officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Masks are encouraged to be worn for the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield VA 22116-7023.

Gary was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Lee Arthur Sorrells and Shirley Crowder Brantley. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his daughter, Sunny (Matt) Barlow, twin granddaughters, June and Joslyn Barlow, brothers, Ricky (Pam) Sorrells, Timothy Sorrells and sister, Angie (Dale) Elrod, nieces, Brittany, Shannon and nephews, Brandon, Justin and Tim.
