Gary Danny "Danny" Mimbs Jr.

MACON – Gary Daniel “Danny” Mimbs, Jr. ….Heaven only takes the best and Danny passed away on January 16, 2011 at a local hospital. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Grist and the Rev. Loretta Faulk will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. They may be contacted at the residence of Vickie and Ronnie Rich, 357 Buckeye Road, Fort Valley, GA 31030 and at the residence of Gary and Connie Mimbs, Sr., 245 Robinwood Drive, Macon, GA 31217. Donations may be made to Robins Federal Credit Union, Acct# 509080 (Th), Danny Mimbs Memorial Fund.

Danny was born in Columbus and was a joy to his family and all those who knew and loved him. He was an avid football fan and loved the Georgia Bulldogs and working in the yard.

Danny is survived by his mom, Vickie (Ronnie) Rich; his dad, Gary (Connie) Mimbs, Sr.; half-brothers, Josh Mimbs and Jason Mimbs; step-brother, Bradford Rich; his Nanny, Veatrice Garrett; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by all his family and especially by Buster.
