Gary Lee Kubach, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 8, 2024. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Keith Harris officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church, 40 Rumble Road, Forsyth GA 31029.
Gary was born in Irvington, New Jersey to the late Alfred L. and Marian E. Kubach. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Kubach. He served his country in the United States Merchant Marines. Gary retired after thirty-three years as a special agent with the ATF. He was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church and was an award winning Chess Player. After 911 he taught gun safety classes. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Debbie C. Kubach of Juliette, children, Melissa (Derrick) Dent, Teresa Kubach, Kandi (Ricky) Shurley, Jody (Tasha) Kersey, grandchildren, Nicole, Hannah, Hayden, Trey, Drew, Tomy, Jessie, Colton, great grandchildren, Dylan, Aiden, Will, Tate, and Stetson, sister, Barbara Melton, two nephews, Chase and Daniel, and his beloved “Pippi”.
