Gail Bishop, 63, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday in Lyerly Cemetery, Lyerly, GA with the Rev. Barry Peppers officiating. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to First Christian Church Renovation Fund, 2306 Vineville Avenue, Macon 31204.
Born in Lyerly, GA Miss Bishop was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Kimbell Bishop and George Bishop, her brother, Rhen Bishop and her sister, Janis Shivers. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Albany.
Survivors include Mary Bishop of Macon, Theresa Heatherman of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Beverly Bishop of Albany, Irene and Wilene Bishop of Lyerly, Rebecca Croom and Rachel Brown, both of Macon and many nieces and nephews.
