Fredrick "Freddie" Eugene Reid, 61, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Robbie Kerr officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Reid was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Richard S. and Georgia Mae Fowler Reid. He won "Best Defensive Back "1969" and was a graduate of Willingham High School. Freddie was devoted and loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his children, Curtis Eugene Reid, Sr. (Danyale Wesson) of Macon, Stacy Reid (Tim Martin) of Macon, four grandchildren, sister, Patricia Nicholson of Macon, brother, Richard Reid, Jr. of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
