Annette, Fred, Melinda and family,
I was so sorry to read that Mac passed away recently.  Nette, I remember so well our many talks about Mac and Melinda and the growing pains they went through.  They turned out very superbly!  Sending you my love and prayers always!

Justin, first off, my condolences go out to your entire family. I tried writing this last night, but I hit the wrong key, and just like that, my words were gone. Justin, loosing a parent is one of the hardest things you will go through in your life, and I'm so sorry it is at such a young age for you and Mac. There are going to be times you pick up that phone and then remember. Let me share my personal experience. Your daddy loved the Lord, so we know where he is. I have asked dad so many questions over the last few years, and he has answered EVERY SINGLE ONE!  They pop in my head like dad was standing right there. Talk to your daddy, I promise he is listening. I can smile instead of cry when I get my answers now. Don't let stupid things or material things come between you and your siblings. Trust me, it's not worth it. There is nothing I nor anyone else can say, or do to ease your pain right now, so just go through it, let your mama and siblings go through it,  and just be there for your mama. She is going to have to find her new normal and it is going to be hard for her.  Again, I'm truly sorry for your loss.  😞Terry Sauerhoefer

The Allentown Volunteer Fire Department offers our condolences to the families, both personal and fire, of Mac Roberts.  About 20 years ago we lost one of our firefighters to a wreck while responding to a call on Interstate 16.  We can truely say, "We know how you feel to lose a loved one."  To his immediate family and to his fire department family I close the same as Red Skeleton did many years ago:

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I went to school with Mac and saw him again at the Fire Station while voting. He was always kind, funny and a great friend. He left a wonderful legacy not only in his family but in the way he treated others.

It has been a pleasure to know Mac and work alongside him. Over the years, I've come to appreciate him not just as a colleague but as a person, and I can honestly say he was a truly great guy. His humor and charisma made him well-liked by everyone at Robins AFB. I'm very sorry for the family's loss; he will be greatly missed here on base.

My Condolences to the family. Mac and I went to high school together, I'm at a loss for words on hearing of Macs passing. Just such fond memories of us two and the things we got into. Rest In Peace my friend.

So sorry to hear about Mac. I worked with him for many years and have nothing but fine praise for him. He was a kind and caring man and will be missed.

Sorry to hear about Fred. Fred was a good fellow and had some of the best stories in the hangar. Always happy. Was proud to ckeck friend box

Mac was one of the first of those older men that spoke with me as I started a new job as a c-130 electrician.  He was always caring and was good for a pick me up or a good laugh.  I can only imagine just good he was of a father and husband.  I am thankful that I got a chance to meet him and work with him there at building 91.  My deepest condolences to all of you in his family.  He will be dearly missed.

I love you with all of my heart BRITTANY , ADAM & ADRIAN . I’m not even going to say that I know how you feel because I can’t imagine. Brittany Mac was such an amazing, loving, & kind man and I know how much you love your daddy.  You’ll always have the precious memories that you made. What a sad day when I heard this? Mac was such a genuine person that never met a stranger or ever spoke badly about a person. I worked with Fred for many years and he was always a good person to be around. He will definietely be missed. Prayers and thoughts to all of his family and the legacy he left behind!

I am deeply saddened to learn of Mac’s passing. We went to school together from 1st grade on. I have so many wonderful memories of times we shared. I know that he knows Jesus and that he is in his presence. Praying for peace and comfort beyond understanding for his family and friends.

I'm so sorry to read this.  I have fond memories of Mac, I called him "Fred".   We went to school together and he worked at McDonalds on Rocky Creek.  He was my buddy, I loved hanging out with him after school and after he got off work.  Praying for his wife, children and the rest of his family.

Fred always had a smile, a laugh, and a word to say. He loved his family dearly. He spoke well of them during good times and spoke concern for them during challenging times. It doesn't seem fair that he is gone. He talked with me about Jesus and I believe he did others too. I will see you again my friend! I pray that your family grows closer to the Lord during this time. God has many promises for us in this life and in eternity. May He give you peace beyond understanding.
