Fred Bodrey

Fred Bodrey, 85, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Garrett and Rev. Robert Saddler. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Fred was born in Cordele, Georgia to the late James and Nobi Booth Bodrey. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Bodrey, Rayford Bodrey, Bobby Bodrey and Thomas “Booty” Bodrey, and sister, Peggy Bridges. He served his country in the United States Army. Fred was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Geraldine P. Bodrey of Macon, son, Timothy (Lisa) Bodrey of Butler, daughter, Dawn (James) Ross of Roxboro, grandchildren, Heather Bodrey, Michael Bodrey and Nathan Ross, great grandchild, Bella Bacha, brother, Walter Bodrey and sister, Susie Mann, and several nieces and nephews.
