Frances D. Hinson, 81, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Corbitt officiating. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Northview Cemetery in Cedartown, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to donor’s favorite charity.
Frances was born in Cedartown, GA to the late John and Annie Mae Tillery Davis. She was preceded in death by a son, James Ward Hinson. She was a member of Wesleyan Drive Baptist Church and was retired from Geico after twenty three years. She cherished her family and was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and aunt.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Lisa (Wallace) Green of Peachtree City, son, Ted (Lynn) Hinson of Macon, four grandchildren, Blake and Jamie Green and Lyndsey and Logan Hinson.
