Fay Caldwell, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 9, 2021. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Long officiating.
Fay was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Wallace Fletcher and Nora Terry Gordon. She was retired from the Office of Personnel Management and was a member of First Evangelical Church. Fay was a dedicated Christian who loved her church and serving God. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband of forty six years, Rexford “Rex” J. Caldwell of Macon; three sons, Joel Caldwell of Lizella, Sammy (Kelly) Caldwell of Macon, Brian (Natalie) Caldwell of Delray Beach, FL.; three grandchildren, Bailey Caldwell, Lacey Caldwell, Trey Caldwell; brother, Randy (Janice) Gordon of Dry Branch and several nieces and nephews.
