Eloise Corley Marchman, 92, passed from this earthly life into God's eternal kingdom on March 17, 2022. She was born on May 4,1929 in Montgomery County, GA and was predeceased by her parents, Callaway Corley and Ellie Ree Powell Corley. She was also predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, James Comer Marchman, and her sister, Christine Carter.
Eloise lived the majority of her adult life in Macon, GA. Upon graduating from high school, she moved to Macon and was an office worker at Robins Air Force Base. She became a mother and homemaker. After raising her three children, she worked as a desk clerk at Ramada Inn in Macon before retiring. Eloise was a long-time member of Bloomfield Gardens Baptist Church. She lived the last 12 years of her life in the Thomson, GA area.
Survivors include her three sons: Ronny Marchman (Angie) of Thomson, Jim Marchman (Yonna) of Blairsville, and Steve Marchman (Krista) of Winter Garden, Florida. She is also survived by four granddaughters: Michele Wallace (Dustin), Ashley Foss (Dan), Tina Murray (Eli), and MacKenzie Nuckolls (Bradley), and nine great grandchildren.
Her Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Macon Memorial Park, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, GA. Her Funeral Service will follow the visitation in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, with interment following in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
