Edwin graduated from Berry Academy in Rome, Georgia and retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections after serving 34 years of faithful service. Edwin was a member of the Georgia State Retirees Association (GSRA), which he truly enjoyed. Edwin’s passion was his extensive knowledge and vast collection of Cadillacs. He knew more trivia about Macon, Georgia and old TV programs than most and loved being with family and friends.
Edwin is predeceased by his parents, Doris Smith Greenway and E. L. Greenway; and special Aunt Kathryn and Uncle Joe White.
Edwin is survived by his first cousins Mary Charles (Gary) Raines, Jenny (Kay) Stafford, Kee (Lynda) White, and Clara Susan Smith; special cousins Joseph (Erin) White, Andy (Diana) White, whom they referred to as their Uncle Edwin; and many other cousins and friends whom he cherished deeply.
