Raymond Edwin Carr, 67, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors and the Rev. Marty Watson officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel,
Pio Nono Avenue.
Mr. Carr, son of the late Raymond Edward Carr and Gradice Wells Carr, was a native of Macon and was a member of New Elim Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War, 1968 – 1971 and was a printing press operator retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Carr loved music and was a gifted karaoke singer.
Survivors include his son, Bray (Erica) Carr; brother, Larry (Nancy) Carr; his grandchildren, Cohen Carr and Lola Carr; nieces and nephews, Debra McDonald, Renee Hartley, Pam Forbes, Michael Johnson and Melinda Johnson and his most special friend, Ruby Brown.
