Earlene Watkins Garrett

Earlene Watkins Garrett, 81 of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snows Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will follow in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Reverend Edward Dawson will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.

Born in Binfield, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Earl Watkins and Tennie Beeler Watkins. She was a retired nursery worker from Shurlington Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Fox.

Mrs. Garrett was a member of the Shurlington United Methodist Church. She worked at Binfield Elementary School and William Blount High School lunchrooms in Maryville, Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband, John Alton Garrett, Children, Delynn A Fox (Natasja), David Fox (Linda) Grandchildren, Charlie, Vincent, Carola, Angelo Derks; and April Gutkowski, Brother, James G. Watkins, and Nephew, Jason Watkins, Niece, Lucinda Hodges.
