Deborah Louise Myrick, 66, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Shane Gottwals and Josh Queen officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deborah was born in Portsmouth, VA to Benjamin Myrick and the late Patricia Anne Hayes Myrick. She loved taking care and watching her grandchildren and being with her family. Deborah enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and going out to dinner with her best friend Gherry. She was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her father, Benjamin (Sharon) Myrick; children, Dana (Jason) Tingler, Derek Johnston, Diana (Branden) Renfroe; grandchildren, Emilee, Travis, Evan, Anna, Emma, Ian, Lola, EllaKate, Brook, Grace, Harper and Hayes; brother, Chris (Beth) Myrick; sister, Sandie Myrick; step-brother, Paul Jaques; step-sister, Rachel (Todd) Newman; and several nieces and nephews.
