David Scott Sheffield

David Scott Sheffield, 48, of Gray, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Friday, August 09, 2024, at Snow's at Macon Memorial Park. Memorial services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Greenwood Baptist Church in Jones County with Rev. Kim Washburn officiating.

David was born October 19, 1975, in Macon and had lived most of his life in Jones County. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and a 1995 graduate of Jones County High School. Family was very important to him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He exhibited a remarkable loyalty to those he held close. He loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, scuba diving, scalloping, kayaking, and was an avid Georgia Bulldawg Fan (GO DAWGS). He was loved by many and the impact he left on this world was immeasurable. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Elizabeth Sheffield.

David is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lauren Elizabeth Sheffield, his sons, Cameron, Chandler, and Cason Sheffield, his granddaughter, MaeLeigh Reign Sheffield, his father, Charles Sheffield, his brothers, Chuck Sheffield (Kim), Donald Sheffield (Kim), Chad Sheffield (Lori), nieces and nephews, Chase, Amy, Brooke, Matthew, Macie and Seth.
