Danny Rush was born on December 15, 1952, to Estella and the late Charlie Rush in Macon, Georgia. As an only child, he was showered with love from the beginning of his life. Due to his small stature, he earned a nickname that most people knew and called him: “Bone.” A lifelong resident of Macon, Danny attended L.H. Williams Elementary School, Miller Jr. High School, Ballard Hudson High School, and Central Georgia Technical College. In his early years, he was very artistically talented and often drew pictures freehand. He was always willing to help others. During his lifetime, he worked in various jobs, including the City of Macon, Cherokee Brick Company, Lawrence Mayer Florist, and several jobs in the service industry. He was a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church.
Sadly, Danny departed this earthly life on July 25, 2022, to enter his eternal life. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother, Estella Schofield; his son, Alexander Rhodes (Kim); two cousins with whom he was raised as a child, Patrena Johnson (Ovie) and Dianne Scott (Alexander); and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
