Daisy Mae Miller

Daisy Mae Childree Miller, 83, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Fuller officiating. The family will meet friends on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miller was born in Reynolds, Georgia on March 27, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty nine years, Eldridge A. Miller. Mrs. Miller enjoyed playing softball for the William Carter Company and was a dietician for the YWCA in Macon for many years. She was an active member at Bethesda Baptist Church and Midway Baptist Church. Her legacy is the last of 11 children and closing the book on her generation. She loved her plants and birds, but most of all she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and a fine southern lady.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don K. (Cindy) Miller, Sr., two grandchildren, Don K. (Heidi) Miller, Jr. and Jessica M. Miller.
