Cynthia Wallace Patterson, age 95, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Riverside Cemetery, entering through the Madison Street Gate. The Reverend Dr. Bryan Hinson will officiate.
Mrs. Patterson was born in Macon the daughter of the late Sara Lamb Lord Wallace and Homer Wallace.
Through her working career, she was a secretary at Robins Air Force Base, worked at Clark Memorials, did taxes for H&R Block, and was box office secretary at the Macon Little Theatre. She owned and operated a Baskin-Robins ice cream store franchise on Ingleside Avenue, and for a time sold real estate in Macon and St. Simons Island. Mrs. Patterson was a long-time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her son, Carl B. Patterson, III (Carswell) of Macon; daughter, Patricia P. Darden (James M.) of Louisville, GA; grandchildren, Shannon L. Patterson of Macon, Eric T. Gibbs of Sandersville, Tarver A. Petersen of Macon, and Cameron A. Petersen (Lucia) of Macon; great-grandchildren, Gabriel B. Patterson of Macon, Jack A. Gibbs of Lubbock, TX and Lucianne L. Gibbs of Lubbock, TX; cousins, Edward W. Wells of Marietta, Robert E. Taylor of Barnesville, Steven J. Taylor of Gaston, OR and Patrick F. Taylor of Stone Mountain, GA.
Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road, has charge of arrangements.
