Cynthia “Cindy” Leaptrot Smith, 67, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Blizzard officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:30pm until service time at the funeral home. Cindy was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Bennett and Dorothy Jarrell Leaptrot and was preceded in death by her partner, John Hill. She retired from AT&T as a Project Manager and was a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Cindy was an animal lover and enjoyed working in her yard.
Survivors include her step children, Nikole (Dan) Edmonds, John Wilson Hill, Ashley Hill, and David Hill, and their children; sister, Mildred (Jerry) Cook; nieces, Amy (Greg) Matkovich and Alicia Barker, and their children; and numerous cousins.
