Courtney Taylor White, 14, died Tuesday morning from injuries sustained in a tragic accident. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 2P.M. Friday at Greenwood Baptist Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Glynn Cranford will officiate.
Courtney was a lifelong resident of Macon and was the granddaughter of the late Shirley Hulsey. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Jimmy White and aunt, Melrose Evans. She was an Honor Student at Jones County 9th Grade Academy in Gray where she loved her school, her teachers and her classmates. Courtney was gifted and creative and loved to write. She played trumpet in the Band, was a Cheerleader, a member of F.M.L.A. and Girl Scouts.
Although this beautiful candle was snuffed out much too soon, her spirit and her sweet memory will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved her most: her family, her mother, Vicki White of Jones County; her dad, Donald White of Macon; her brother, Tyler White of Jones County; paternal grandparents, Wrenford and Sammie White of Macon; maternal grandparents, Jamie and Judy Morris of Pine Mountain; her aunts and uncles, Ricky L. White of Macon, Wrenford Wade White of Augusta, Beth Harmon of Atlanta, Michael Hulsey of Winder, Michael Morris of Pine Mountain, Janet Sprague of Columbus, Janice Sims of Pilesgrove, NJ, Keith Burgess of Columbus, Angie White, Rex Evans of Macon, and Joyce and Vince Zarzaca of Winder, and numerous cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
