Cherry Susan Buff Liles, 96, passed away on Saturday October 20, 2018 at Gray Health and Rehab surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens with Rev. Trey Dickerson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 866 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201.
Mrs. Liles was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Julian and Odessa Pollock Buff. She was the widow of the late Julian Francis Liles. She was of the Baptist faith. Cherry was a wonderful seamstress and designer. Cherry was also a wonderful cook and cooked the best coconut cake ever. She will be missed by all of her loved ones and caregivers.
She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Davis and Susan (Darious) Brantley of Gray, son, Julian (Kathy) Liles of Macon, five grandchildren, Tina Comer, Annette Newsome, Kenneth Brantley, Sabrina Taylor and Blair Liles, nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
