Cherie Lorin Barbee

Cherie Lorin “Grams” Barbee, 52, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington DC 20037.

Cherie was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Elizabeth Doss and Johnny Frost. She was a graduate of Culinary School of Arts with an honors degree. Cherie was known for her delicious cooking and baking cheesecakes, never meeting a stranger and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was devoted and loving wife, mother, grams, sister, aunt and friend to all.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Barbee of Macon; father, Johnny (Kathy) Frost; daddy, Lionel Doss; children, Catelyn Etheridge, Lauren (Nick) Meade, Aubrey (Kennedy) Jones, Dean (Charity) Royal, Paula (Paul) Oakley; grandchildren, Noelle, Declan, Killian, Mikelle, Carlton, Shawn, Joey, Nikki, RayRay, Claire Ann; siblings, Chandra Sutton, Michelle Stevenson, Ann Doss-Haley, Martin Doss, Denise Hayes, Michael Hayes, and numerous nieces and nephews.
