Charles Stewart Owens, 78, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Burial will be held privately at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Owens was born September 27, 1946, in Macon to the late Pensin Owens and Aline Giddens Owens. He was a carpenter by trade and was an accomplished drag racer. He also enjoyed playing golf. Mr. Owens was of the baptist faith and was preceded in death by his sons: Charles Owens, Jr. and Ronnie Owens.
Mr. Owens is survived by his daughter: Jewellene McIntyre; former spouse: Billie Jo Owens; grandchildren: Roger Cothren, Nicholas Cothren, Ronnie Owens, Miranda Owens and Walter Charles Owens; great-grandchildren: Olivia Clarey, Max McIntyre and Laney Cothren.
