Chuck graduated from Lanier High School and worked at Greene Plumbing and Heating. In 1980, he started his job at Robins Air Force Base and worked for 34 years. After retiring, he went to work at Alion Tech.
He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, cooking and enjoyed camping with his family. On a Saturday, you could find Chuck outside cooking and listening to Willie Nelson.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Cay Martin Kite, his girls and boys, Luke and Kelli Wood, Donovan and Kimberly Brown, his grandchildren that he adored Isabella and Adeline Wood, Berkley, Beckett, and Brinley Brown, his sisters Dianne Sapp and Karen and Randy Allen.
Chuck was a member of Martha Bowman Memorial Methodist Church for 33 years. The Celebration of his Life will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Martha Bowman United Methodist Church. Burial will be private for family only in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Laudis H. “Rick” Lanford and Rev. Mark Magoni will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service. Masks and social distancing are required to be in attendance of the service. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Martha Bowman United Methodist Church, 500 Bass Road, Macon 31210.
