Charles Eugene Hussey, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Charles was born in Macon, Georgia to the late John Calhoun Hussey and Mattie Mae Hutto Hussey. He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Hussey. Charles served his country in the United States Navy and was retired from Sattlecreek Trucking. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara R. Hussey of Byron, children, Gerry Sue (Gary) Marshall of Byron, Terry Day of Jacksonville, IL, Luke (Dawn) Hussey of Macon, Jon (Pam) Hussey of Frankfort, IN, daughter-in-law, Sabrina H. Taylor of Byron, sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
