Cathy R. Bailey

Cathy R. Bailey, 59, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, March 15th in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service in the chapel. Burial will be held on Monday at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Gray Haven Project, P. O. Box 172, Richmond, VA 23218.

Born in Macon, Georgia the daughter of the late Myrtice Campbell Rogers and James Calvin Rogers, she was a world traveling Army spouse, retired educator and labor birth coach, and a member of the Life Church in Manassas, Virginia.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, Albert "Al" Eugene Bailey, Jr. of Dumfries, VA; children, Albert Bailey, III of Dumfries, VA, Matthew Bailey (Nina) of Ft. Benning, GA, Stephen Bailey (Jaymie) of Macon, Joshua Bailey (Andrea) of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, James, Olivia, Bristol, Emilia, and Fiona Bailey; sister, Jan Cochran (Mike) of Macon; nieces Dana Thompson (Jeff), Stephanie Frank (Doug) & nephew Chad Cavender.
