Mrs. Carol Elliott, 75, was born on October 4, 1938 and died on her birthday, Friday evening, October 4, 2013 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, on Tuesday, October 8 at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Rick Odum will officiate. The family will greet friends at the graveside, prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
Mrs. Elliott, daughter of the late Thomas William (Sr.) and Lillie Alma Vincent Hudgins, was born in Macon, GA. She attended Miller High School, where she earned her diploma. Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society at the Al Sihah Shrine Temple. She loved Bingo, and played many places including the Al Sihah Shrine Temple, American Legion, and VFW. Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her brother, T.W. Hudgins, Jr.; a step son, Franki Lynn Elliott; and her brother in law, Milton C. Sellers.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband of 40 years, James David Elliott; sons, William Eugene Jump, Jr. (Beverley Kim), Wesley Andrew Jump (Pamela); daughter, Brandi Elliott Griffitts (Bryant); step sons, Michael David Elliott, William Terrell Elliott (Joann); step daughter, Lisa Diane Elliott Williams (Derrell); sister, Jessie Ann Hudgins Sellers; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a great many nieces and nephews.
