Calvin C. Holloway

Calvin C. Holloway, 93, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the Mausoleum Chapel.

Calvin was born in Abbeville, GA to the late Berle and Ollie Garrett Holloway. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Collier Holloway and four sisters and three brothers. He served in the United States Army Air Corp from 1943 to 1945. Calvin was retired from Middle Georgia Paper Company. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his children; C. Jeff (Martha) Holloway of Macon, Pamela J. (Bill) Maddox of Gray, J. Keith (Leah) Holloway of Macon, Terry C. (Betty) Holloway of Milledgeville, Esterine H. (Danny) Stokes of Macon, Trudy M. (Dennis) Skidmore of Gray. Grandchildren; April (Travis) Reeves, Jason Arnett, Jessica (Jimbo) Hatcher, Brooke Holloway, Shane Stokes (Sara Roberts) and Kaitlyn Skidmore, eight great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
