Brenda,
We still miss you so very much. The hurt is just as strong as it was a year ago. You were and ARE still loved deeply. Your family remain in my prayers.  I know your grandchildren, children and husband miss you beyond words.  You were the glue that held the family together.  I know you are looking down on them and still taking care of them.  I'll see you one day soon.  Until then will you kiss my Jared on the cheek and give him a hug for me.  He always thought of you as his aunt.

Dear Don,
I was deeply saddened to hear about your sudden loss of Brenda from Allen yesterday. Hongbin and I know how difficult this must have been for you. You are in our thoughts.
Brenda was such a kind, gentle person. She had offered me of help to us when I was in Auburn, especially when my son was born and the time before I moved to CA. You and Brenda had played a big part of our family’s life in Auburn. I want to let you know we will always remember her and miss the good times we spent together. 
She has demonstrated what a loving wife, thoughtful daughter, and a caring grandma is.  I know how much you will miss Brenda. Perhaps you could use your special talent of photography to make a lasting memory book of Brenda. We have some lovely pictures of Brenda we’d love to share.

Don, you and Brenda have been an inspiration in my life. I am struggling to understand why such a tragedy can happen to such good people. I can not begin to comprehend what you must be going through but I hope that you can take some comfort in knowing that the pain you feel is shared by your many friends in the paving industry. Don, Beth and Angela, I am so sorry for your suden loss.  Brenda was a very sweet person and I have many fond memories of you all.  So glad that I was able to talk to her at the 100 years celebration at Tabernacle in Cartersville only a couple of weeks ago.  My prayers and love are with you now.

I was so sorry to hear the news. I have such good memories of my time with Brenda at ABAC. You and your family are in my prayers.

    I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.  I always remember Brenda as such a sweet "girl" and Mrs.
Marshall as a caring Sunday school teacher and later YWA leader.  And of course I remember Wayne as a pretty terrific brother in law many years back.  I pray that God will just lift each of you up and give you strength as you deal with this great loss.

Brenda was like a big sister to me for many years.  She made my wedding dress and sang at my wedding. Donald, Brenda, Angela, and Beth are my extended family.  We were very, very close for many years.  Although I haven't seen Brenda for some time, I still love her and her family dearly. She was a great wife and mother and she loved Jesus more than anything.  I lost my youngest son, Jared, three years ago and now I know Brenda is in Heaven with him and helping to take care of him.  Brenda, please kiss his cheek for me and give him a big hug and tell him I will be with him as soon as I can.
Brenda, nothing will ever take away all the precious memories I have of you.  Donald, Angela, and Beth ... you are in my prayers and thoughts constantly.  My hearts hurts so badly for you.  I know your faith is strong, but I also know the grief can't be explained in words.

Brenda was a person that you loved to be with! She was one of the sweetest people in the whole world.  She was always willing to help me with the children in the children's department. She always brightened a room when she walked in it.  God's spirit truly radiated through her. Bellevue will not be the same without Brenda. She was a true Southern Belle!
