Brenda Liles Sawyer, 70, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at her residence. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00pm, Friday, at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park. Services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, August 26, 2023, in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park with interment in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Billy Lowe and Rev. Phil Skelton will officiate.
Mrs. Sawyer was born October 21, 1952, in Macon to the late James D. Liles and Mary Ray Liles. She was a cosmetologist by trade and enjoyed cooking large meals for her family. She was known for having the best banana pudding around. Mrs. Sawyer was preceded in death by a brother: James D. Liles and a sister: Barbara A. Elliott.
Mrs. Sawyer is survived by her husband of fifty-one years: Rusty Sawyer, Sr.; children: Rusty Sawyer, Jr. (Carla), Brian Sawyer (Christy), and Tamara Lagos (Ever); seven grandchildren; brothers: Ronnie Liles (Marsha) and Thomas Liles (Sherry); and a sister: Frances Camp.
