Brenda J. Sanders Fincher, 73, was joyfully reunited with her son, Stacy H. Fincher, and her parents, William Reuben Sanders and Willa McCallum (Leroy) Miller when she went home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 6, 2015. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Dr. Shannon Back officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Brenda was known as a loving, gracious and attentive hostess, particularly at family reunions and holidays, as well as a wonderful cook. She took great pride in her home and reigned over an immaculate lawn from atop her rolling throne (the ever faithful riding mower). She was a faithful member of the Glenn Talbert Sunday School Class at Lizella Baptist Church. Brenda was a former employee of Blake and Pendleton having recently retired after 40 years of dedicated service.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Howard Cochran of Lizella, two sons; Jesse L. Fincher, Jr. and Todd L. Fincher, Sr., their children and grandchildren; Justin, Jess, Jennifer, Josh, Lee, Kimberly, Gracie, Mallory, Emmalee and Jade, a beloved daughter-in-law, Lenn Fincher and stepdaughter, Cynthia Cochran Joyner, also left to cherish her memory are siblings, Genene S. (Charlie) Hanse, Debra M. Golden, and H. L. “Butch” (Becky) Miller, aunt, Laverne “Boone” McCallum, a nephew and numerous nieces, and cousins, as well as friend and father of her children, J. Lamar Fincher, Sr.
