Betty Lou Young Wall, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 30, 2012. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Richard Collins will officiate. The family will meet friends from 11 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. While flowers are acceptable, those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Georgia District Assemblies of God, Timberlake Retreat Center, P. O. Box 28470, Macon 31210.
Mrs. Wall, wife of the late Rev. Aaron Malcolm Wall, was born in Wichita Falls, TX the daughter of the late Charlie and Bessie Marshall Young. She was a member of the Assemblies of God and served as the Director of Womens Ministries. Mrs. Wall was a devoted homemaker who cherished and loved her family as well as her church family and considered them to be a gift from God.
She is survived by those she loved most, her children, Patricia Wall Howell (Bubba), Mike Wall (Brenda) and Phillip Wall (Karina Gay), all of Macon; her beloved grandchildren, Stefanie Howell, Jamie Nichols (Robby), Jennifer Fanning (Matthew), Christie Wall, Katie Wall, Betty Hardy (Jon), Phillip Wall and Madison Wall; her great grandchildren, Haley Nichols, Sydney Nichols, Emma Hardy, Thomas Fanning, Ryder Nichols and Sophie Hardy; her sisters, Joan Dunahoo and Barbara Lewis; her brothers, Bud Young and Johnny Young and several nieces and nephews.
