Betty Jo Cannon Simpson, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, December 5, 2016. A celebration of her life will be Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Albert Jones officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until service time at the funeral home. Betty Jo was born in Dublin, Georgia to the late Joseph Albert Cannon and Edna Lou Donaldson Cannon and was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Simpson III and son, Joseph Simpson. She was a warranty clerk with Childre Dodge and a member of Vineville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, William (Lucinda) Simpson and Daniel (Cyndi) Simpson; daughter-in-law, Mary Simpson; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Edna Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.
