The Sego Family was a traveling gospel singing group full-time for over 20yrs. Betty was a mom to many. Numerous band members would travel with them, and occasionally live in the family home during off times. In addition to her own family, she would cook for them, wash clothes, and sometimes give haircuts. What a servant's heart she had! Years later, Betty became the sole caregiver for her elderly parents till their passing. Then as devoted wife, she cared for her ailing husband, till his death in 2012. In 2023, Betty moved to Zebulon Park Health and Rehab. The family is extremely grateful for the wonderful love and care she received as a resident till her passing. Zebulon Park staff has become part of our family. Loving Mom, Mema, Grandmother, and Nana we love you and we'll miss you.
