Betty Kitchens Clifton, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, May 12, 2017. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Duggan officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00pm until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, 1848 Tucker Road, Macon, 31220.
Betty was born in Adrian, Georgia to the late Lenny and Pauline Beasley Sandifer and was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold E. Kitchens, Jr. She was a homemaker and an avid quilter and camper. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam (Jerry) Brock of Hayesville, NC; son, Drew (Bambi) Kitchens of Canton; grandchildren, Daniel Hurst, Jr., Chris Kitchens and Carrie Kitchens; and great grandchildren, Emma Kitchens and Sadie Kitchens.
