Bernice “Bunky” Cowart Griffin, III, 67, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
Bunky was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Bernice Cowart and Anne Simmons Griffin. He was a member of Lynmore Methodist Church and was a self-employed General Contractor. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Culpepper Griffin of Milledgeville, son, Cowart Griffin of Macon and granddaughter, Peyton Griffin of Macon, sister, Patsy (Charlie) Massey of Fort Valley and brother, Mickey Griffin of Key Largo, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
