Bernice Marie Benge, 67, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Bishop Ryan Dixon will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 Tuesday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Benge was born in Wrightsville, Georgia and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Benge was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Steven Benge.
Mrs. Benge is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tommy Benge of Macon; daughter, Sherrie (Bill) Sutton; son, Michael Benge; grandchildren, Jay Powell, Jamie (Johnnie) Newell; great-grandchildren, Justin Powell, Kaylie Slaton, Karley Slaton, Conner Newell; brothers, James (Laura) Allen, Joe (Dale) Allen; sisters, Christine (Howard) Grubbs, Dorothy (Bryan) Breirton, Mryt (Hall) Kennedy.
