Benjamin Shaun Wilson Sr., 43, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 13, 2021 surrounded by his family. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomaston Road Church of Christ with Pastor Todd Johnson and BT Taylor officiating. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thomaston Road Church of Christ, 5859 Thomaston Road, Macon GA 31220. Shaun has requested that everyone in attendance please wear navy, gray or Cowboy attire.
Shaun was born in Macon, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilna Faye Wilson. He was a member of the Thomaston Road Church of Christ. Shaun was an avid hunter, fisherman, handyman and most of all an avid Cowboys fan. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-two years, Laura Sherese Wilson; children, Benjamin Shaun Wilson, Jr. and Courtney Grace Wilson; father, James Wilson; mother, Debbie Ann Upshaw; siblings, Paul Wilson, Theresa (BT) Taylor Sherry Fontenot, Luke (Nancy) Wilson; brother-in-law, Jay (Amanda) Drye; sister-in-law, Nicki (Cane) Johnson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends whom are like family.
