Benjamin “Benny” Suddeth, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Gateway Fellowship Church with the Rev. Jeremy Singletary officiating. Burial will be private for family only at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the church.
Benny was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Eldridge and Ollie Mae Sikes Suddeth. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah Sawley, Betty Sorenson and brother, James Suddeth,and also two grandchildren Sierra Machea' Mobley and Maverick Thomas Smith. Benny served his country in the United States Army and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He worked as a bailiff at the Bibb County LEC. Benny attended Gateway Church of God. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Suddeth, children, Michael (Kelli) Suddeth, Valerie Howard, Heather (Stephen) Wilford, Leslie Mathis (Brian) Skinner, eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, two brothers, David (Meschal) Suddeth, Robert (Linda) Suddeth, sister, Teresa (Charles) Manning, sister-in-law, Karla Suddeth, and numerous nieces and nephews.
