Always loved Benita so much fun to be around and so truthful when she had a comment. Gone too soon but God gives us memories to remember our friends and I only have good ones of Benita. RIP sweet lady.

I remember Benita to be a sweet loving person. Her laugh was infectious and I have good memories of her from high school and parties . I’ll never forget her fun loving ways. Rest in peace Benita. 

And worked with Bonita from 1986 till 1993 in the service department at Geico. I always enjoyed being around Bonita. She always had a smile and a kind word and she was funny. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you go through this hard time. RIP sweet Bonita

Nita had an infectious laugh & easy smile. We shared so many good times in high school & over the years.  Memories of all of those conversations & escapades come flooding back whenever I think of sweet Nita. Everyone knows how much she loved her daughters, grandchildren & brother & sister in law.  Sydney & Julie, your sweet mom will be remembered for her heart, the love she extended to family & friends and selfless care of her mom,  Bessie . We shared a passion for animals & "being silly"! My mom(Barbara) and I are sorry we could not come down for Benita's service today....Benita was always so happy to see you when you saw her...I (Jenny) use to go the beauty shop and would hope that Benita was home so I could go visit with her...as a little girl she already had my heart...My mom (Barbara) and our family would like to express our deepest condolences...she has only left in body...she will always be in our hearts & minds...God got a beautiful angel.

Benita, I have loved you since the third grade.  You wore the most petticoats so your dress stood straight out--thanks to Bessie.  I will cherish all of our memories.  We have relived a bunch of them over the last 5 months.  You were always my best friend and I knew you were there for me.  Your beautiful smile, laughter and love of life was so who you were.  You were the best mother and Nana and they will miss you so.  You had a heart of gold and heart filled with kindness for everyone. I'm so sorry to hear this news. I had the pleasure of working with Benita at GEICO many years ago. Such a kind, sweet and loving soul. She talked about her girls all the time. You girls are what she lived for. Will be praying for y'all in the days ahead.

Sydney and Julie so very sorry for the lose of your mother. Benita was such an awesome person we shared many laughs and concerns. She worshiped her daughters and grandchildren so much. I am so sorry to hear of Bonita's passing. She was always so sweet and I am blessed to have worked with her at GEICO. I will keep all of her family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember Benita as an SMB "sister" and kept up with her through Facebook in more recent years.  She was a sweet girl!  So sad to hear of her passing.  

So many memories of a gentle kind and loving mother who always put others before herself.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 


I have the fondest memories of Benita. Although  I lost touch with her over the years I will remember how funny she was and the direct answers she gave in any conversation . She now has the peace we all are marching towards. Her laugh will make the Angles chuckle. I pray for Gods blessing on your soul.
